What did KSI say about the removal of Gary Lineker – The UK-based Youtuber JJ “KSI” is not happy with BBC for letting Gary Lineker make way.
Recently, the BBC presenters denied hosting Network’s flagship program “Match Of The Day” highlight. Their decision was influenced by the removal of Gary Lineker after he made a politically haywire statement against the United Kingdom government.
KSI tweeted, “Gary Lineker being taken off the BBC is such a loss. He was one of the few that was actually funny and entertaining, not to mention knowledgeable.” Although, KSI has not publicly commented on the removal of Gary Lineker from BBC.
The show was supposed to be hosted by former football star Alan Shearer and BBC’s regular Ian Wright. Both the hosts tweeted against the decision of getting ride of Gary Lineker.
Ian Wright even added, “If the BBC get rid of Gary Lineker, I’m out, I’m gone, I’m not staying there. On his own platform, he should be able to say what he wants to say.”
“This has become the prefect distraction for this government. They’ve got no empathy. And the most vulnerable people are always the ones that suffer. He [Lineker] is so right with what’s he’s saying.”
Gary Lineker is a former professional football player and current sports presenter on the BBC. He played for various clubs including Leicester City, Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and England’s national team. He is a hugely popular presenter and is currently the face of Match of the Day and various other BBC programming.
