Joker became the highest-grossing R-rated film in history with slightly over $1 billion in international box office receipts.
Lady Gaga is an American singer-songwriter and performance artist who was born on March 28, 1986, in New York City, New York. She is renowned for her flashy outfits, controversial lyrics, and powerful vocal abilities. Gaga may be in a strong position to win her own Oscar with Phoenix in the running for supporting actor if this new Phillips picture is another award favorite.
Before leaving school to pursue a career in music, she attended Collaborative Arts Project 21 via the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She signed a joint agreement with Interscope Records and KonLive Distribution in 2007 while working as a composer for Sony/ATV Music Publishing after Def Jam Recordings terminated her contract.
With her first studio album, The Fame, and its number-one songs, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face,” Gaga made her breakthrough the following year. The EP The Fame Monster (2009), which produced the hit songs “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” and “Alejandro,” was eventually included in a reissue of the album.
