It has been revealed that Naga Munchetty, who had been absent from the latest episode of BBC Breakfast, has been replaced.
On March 2, Rachel Burden took over for Naga Munchetty, who the BBC had employed since 2008. She was absent from the most recent BBC Breakfast broadcast, and Rachel filled in for her with her co-host Charlie Stayt. This confirms the rumor. Several of Naga’s followers were stunned by the news since they had been counting on her to present the most recent show when she was really nowhere to be found.
On Twitter, a lot of folks expressed their viewpoints. When they learned she was no longer employed by the BBC, most of them were in disbelief. One user tweeted directly to Nina, “when are you going to be back on BBC breakfast ? I m missing you.” Another user said, “where are you? My husband has been worried you’ve not been on Breakfast. Hope you’re doing well.”
Her decision to leave the program due to her uncharacteristic absence from her job day shocked her supporters. Nina Warhurst covered her absence on Thursday and Friday of last week. The reason Naga was absent from the concert and her whereabouts were unknown to the audience. Although some thought she could have taken a week off, others thought she had left the program. But this was proven when Rachel Bruden stepped in when she went missing again this week.
Neither her Instagram account nor her Twitter account has been updated since February 18, when Naga Munchett disappeared. Furthermore, she hasn’t hosted BBC Radio 5 Live since February 15, which she presents every Monday through Wednesday.
Her next episode is scheduled to run on Monday, March 6, according to her show profile on the BBC website. Hence, fans of BBC Breakfast will be hopeful that it means she will be joining Charlie on the red couch again next Thursday.
