He replaced Nico Hulkenberg and had Daniel Ricciardo as his partner. He ended the season 12th in the drivers’ championship with 62 points.
In 2021, Renault rebranded as the Alpine F1 team. Ocon is now partnered with Fernando Alonso and has signed a new contract with Alpine to remain with the team until the end of the 2024 season.
