It has been a difficult season for both Everton and Tottenham.
Both teams were expected to push on after ending the last campaign well. Tottenham reached the Champions League final while Everton did well to pick up points under Marco Silva.
However, neither team has played to their potential and both managers are under pressure to get things sorted.
Everton did have something to cheer in midweek as they won their Carabao Cup clash. Tottenham were already out of the competition and their problems were further highlighted when they lost to Liverpool last weekend.
Tottenham do have Giovani Lo Celso back in the side after a hip injury, however, Danny Rose will be suspended for this clash.
Everton are set to miss out on the services of Bernard as he was injured in the loss to Brighton. Yerry Mina is also going to be a huge loss for the Toffees, but they should see Gylfi Sigurdsson back in action.
Mauricio Pochettino and Silva both need a win and neither team will want to give away much to their opposition.
This is a tale of two struggling teams and it will be interesting to see if the sides start off cautiously or go all-out in the attack.
There are several quality attackers in the game who could provide a huge points haul in this Dream 11 match-up.
Paulo Gazzaniga was excellent in the loss to Liverpool at the weekend.
The Argentine made some incredible saves to keep Spurs in the lead at half-time and should be chosen ahead of Jordan Pickford.
Tottenham’s full-backs haven’t done too well this season but Ben Davies could impress in place of the suspended Rose.
Lucas Digne is one of the best left-backs in the league and he could provide an assist in the game.
The other defender chosen for this game is Juan Foyth as the Argentine could play as the right-back for Spurs.
The midfield features two players from each club and the bulk of the points could come from the home side’s stars.
Richarlison is tough to handle and Tom Davies could have one of those excellent days when he goes up against Spurs.
Tanguy Ndombele came off the bench in the loss to Liverpool and should start for Spurs.
Giovani Lo Celso could perform some magic for Tottenham as they search for an important win.
It is difficult not to choose Tottenham’s star strikers as the forwards. Harry Kane scored in the loss to the Reds while Son Heung-min was close to finding the back of the net.
The pair will be crucial to Tottenham’s chances of winning while Everton will expect Dominic Calvert-Lewin to continue his scoring ways after finding the back of the net against Brighton.
The captain and vice-captain should amongst the Spurs forwards. Kane should be leading the line while Son should be the deputy.
Both teams are struggling and are in need of the points. The defences haven’t been great while the clubs can score goals freely.
This could be a high scoring encounter but the match should end in a draw.
