Evil Dead Kandarian Guide: Level up

Three Kandarian Demons are available in Evil Dead: The Game. Initially, they are all weak and need to upgrade their abilities before they can become a real threat. This is something that happens over time. Scare and attack survivors to accelerate this process. At the beginning of the match, hunt down survivors to make sure they don’t get away.

The moment you spot deadites, head in their direction. This isn’t yet your ability to summon them. In any case, you will be able to set traps. Set as many as possible. The goal is to scare the survivors enough to ensure to level up rapidly. When you have leveled enough to spawn enemies, set them in the path of your enemies. You need to keep peeping at the survivors. Don’t worry about killing them early on. The goal is to keep their fear up as you level up. This will give you an advantage in the final battle.

Slow down the enemies

In order to win, Kandarian Demons must trouble the Survivors as much as they can. You need to slow them down and wear them out. If you’ve found the Survivors, do your best to keep them from having peace for as long as possible. Infernal Power is all you have, and if you keep scaring, you will rarely be without it.

Summon timing matters a lot

You will sometimes have to fight the other players directly. There’s no need to worry about collecting Infernal Energy red orbs necessary to do virtually anything as the boss demon because you’ll receive it for free. This allows you to overwhelm them with a combination of AI monsters, summons and attacking directly as the boss demon. During these times, you can easily spread your forces too thin.

If you do not time your summons, it can be hard to defeat a complete group of survivors. The Infernal Energy meter and cool-down timers stop you from spamming monsters. As a result, you may want to wait until you have the power to summon several weaker monsters before summoning a sole Elite monster. In this way, they won’t walk into a fight four-on-one.

Before engaging the survivors directly, make sure you have backup summons that is prepared in terms of power and cooldown.

Look for map pieces

A Demon doesn’t get any hints as to where Professor Knowby’s map pieces are, but as if he was playing Survivor, an objective marker will appear in his field of vision whenever you are near one. You can force the Survivors into a trap if you find a map piece before they do. Map pieces are often found inside buildings; when you locate one, use as many traps and proximity portals as you can to get them into it.

Survivor players cannot resist opening Supply Chests, so trap them too. The best thing about trapping a map piece is that the Survivors won’t have time to find top-notch gear or stat boosts. Add Evil Tree traps around the building’s perimeter, then gather orbs as you wait for your quarry to arrive.

You are limiting them of resources for later encounters in which you will be able to call in Elites or join the battlefield as a Boss by making them use up colas and amulets early.

Aim for the car

The possession of a vehicle forces Survivors to return to the ground. From there, you can run them down, or you can speed off and total the car, robbing the team of the time they would otherwise have saved. Since artifact locations are often on opposite sides of the map, this is especially useful when the Survivors are traveling between them.

The Survivors can be forced to walk for a short time, and you can follow them silently behind them when they’re in a car searching for map pieces. It is possible to encircle them with traps and Deadites when they arrive at their destination, forcing them to fight their way out.
