Fan favorite streamer, Tarik Joins Sentinels as a content creator. Will he play for Sentinels? Read below to find out.

The famous Twitch streamer and former professional CS GO player, Tarik, is now a Team Sentinels content creator. While most people thought Tarik joined the Sentinels team as a player, he has not. It is unfortunate that there isn’t a word about empowering the Valorant roster, at least for now.

He is joining as a content creator. He has the option to still be signed as a player. His name isn’t on the current roster, but he can join. ShahZaM, the Leader of the Sentinels Valorant Team, confirmed this. Read below to know more details.

Tarik Joins Sentinels before Valorant Champions

According to Streams Charts, Tarik is set to co-stream the upcoming Valorant Champions tournament that starts on August 31, the day following the announcement, making the signing seem like a strategic move for the organization. According to Streams Charts, Tarik gets about 35,000 viewers per stream and almost 110,000 Twitch followers.

His previous career was as a North American CS:GO talent on teams such as CLG, Cloud9, and Evil Geniuses. He was a member of the Cloud9 squad that won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018. Sentinels fans can watch him stream and comment on Valorant Champions gameplay once the tournament begins.

Sentinels growing high

In the past, Sentinels recruited Shroud before the VCT qualifier, boosting Valorant’s viewership numbers. With Tarik on the line, those numbers will rise even further. Fans can see him becoming a part of the team, if he can attend alongside the big names. He’s done it before, so nothing is out of the realm of possibility. This Sentinels lineup is recognizable and, unsurprisingly, the crowd’s favorite.

Tarik

Tarik’s popularity has skyrocketed since joining VALORANT. When he’s not ranked at the top, he co-streams international tournaments to the largest audiences, sometimes surpassing the mainstream.
