Former MMA star Ian McCall was the latest guest to feature on MMA Unhinged
Former UFC, Rizin and WEC star Ian McCall spoke exclusively to MMA Unhinged as he touched upon several topics.
The 36-year-old retired from the MMA circuit while he was fighting for Rizin in 2018. However, he made his name in the UFC thanks to some incredible performances before moving to Rizin.
The American spoke about his other business ventures and how that was keeping him busy. However, he was asked about possibly returning and if the former star had any advice for the retired Henry Cejudo.
Triple C held two titles in the UFC before making a shock decision to retire. He was the Bantamweight champion at the time but has hinted at returning.
The Olympic gold medallist has also hit out at the new Bantamweight champion Petr Yan, and McCall was asked if he had some advice for Triple C.
However, Uncle Creepy, as McCall was called in the UFC, hit out at Cejudo:
“No, I think he is a d*****bag. I just don’t like his whole thing.”
McCall also wasn’t happy that Cejudo pushed his character so much during his time in the UFC and also claimed it was “pathetic”.
While McCall added that he respected all that the fighters do inside the Octagon, he isn’t the first one to speak out regarding Cejudo’s character.
Cejudo has continued calling out other UFC stars despite retiring from the promotion. The doors to the UFC haven’t been closed for Triple C and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
McCall, for his part, also spoke about the controversial fight against Demetrious Johnson which was called a draw.
However, he believed he was “scre***” out of the win but didn’t lay all the blame on the UFC.
