Logan Storley is undefeated in his MMA career and trained with some of the best in the world

Logan Storley is one of the rising stars in Bellator as the 28-year-old is undefeated in his career.

The American is 11-0 so far but faces a tough challenge against Yaroslav Amosov, who is also undefeated, in his next fight.

Storley was speaking to Jer Wilson of the Blood, Sweat and Tears podcast and opened up some big names he trained with.

The 28-year-old has a wrestling background from his high school and college days, and was asked how he transitioned into MMA.

Storley said he had a few amateur fights in high school and trained with Brock Lesnar and Tony Ferguson:

“I had three amateur fights in high school, I got to train with Brock Lesnar, who is from my home town.

“I got to train with Tony Ferguson as a senior in high school when he was on The Ultimate Fighter show.”

Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight champion while Ferguson is a former interim UFC Lightweight champion.

They are two of the best to have graced the promotion and it seems that Storley learned a lot from them.

Burns vs Usman

Storley also spoke about Gilbert Burns and Kamaru Usman. The pair are to meet for the UFC Welterweight title with Usman holding the belt.

However, Storley believes Burns can get the better of Usman. The American added that he trained with both of them, though Usman doesn’t train with them any more.

Burns has turned his career around since moving to the Welterweight division, and Storley added that the Brazilian was getting better with each fight under his belt.

The pair were to meet in the final card of the year but Usman pulled out due to an injury. Burns vs Usman is one of the most anticipated fights in the UFC, and it will be interesting to see how they do.
