Stephen Thompson is considered as one of the nicest UFC stars on the roster but there are a few things that get him angry too

Stephen Thompson faces Geoff Neal in the main event of UFC Fight Night 183 and Wonderboy was on the Schmozone podcast to speak about the fight and more.

The 37-year-old is considered as one of the nicest people in the UFC and it is really difficult to get him angry.

Wonderboy was also given the “Nicest Mother F*****” tag as a take on the BMF title that Jorge Masvidal won.

Helen Yee, who was co-hosting the show, asked Wonderboy if he had anything that made him angry. Thompson brought up that Chris Weidman, his brother-in-law would know but did reveal something about movie theatres making him upset.

“I think Chris Weidman can tell you. There are very few things that upset me and one of them is people talking in a movie theatre.

“I don’t care if it is the previews or not.”

Wonderboy also brought up an incident where he was watching a movie with Weidman at Long Island and things got a little out of hand:

“During the preview there were some kids just talking really loud behind me and I will turn around and just staring at these guys.”

However, there was not fight as the two sets of people talked it out.

Relaxing thanks to movies

The Schmo then added that mobile phones and social media had destroyed the movie going experience with the constant talking, updates and messages, something that Thompson agreed with.

Thompson also spoke about how this is an important part of his training and also some other projects he took up due to the lock-down of the theatres.

“I am a huge movie movie buff, especially during fight time. You want to kind of get your mind in another world and that is the way to do it, go to a movie theatre.

“Now, they are not even open so I am having a video game and I have my own Twitch channel.”

Thompson is also doing extremely well with his YouTube channel, and it will be interesting to see how he does against Neal.
