The 2020 F1 season is just over a month away and teams are busy preparing for preseason testing which starts in a few days.
All the F1 teams have shared the dates of their car reveals, which gets the season in motion. Some teams have already shared the liveries for the new season while others are keeping their fans in wait.
The 2020 preseason F1 test takes place at the famous Circuit de Catalunya, and it is important for the teams to get some vital running.
There are only six days of testing before the first F1 race in Melbourne, and teams have to make the best use of the facilities.
The testing should see all the drivers turn up on the track with new cars. This gives the teams an understanding of how their pace is compared to others, but some of the top teams keep something in reserve and don’t show their full deck.
Mercedes did that last season as it seemed they would be behind Ferrari but the Silver Arrows won both titles.
The first test takes place between 19 and 21 February while the second one is between 26 to 28 February.
The schedule provides teams with enough time to try out different setups and it will be interesting to see which team can spring a surprise and take the lead in the early running.
Tickets are available on the website of the Barcelona circuit for all the days of testing. The F1 Tickets website also features details on how you can watch the 2020 F1 preseason tests live on the track.
For the first time F1 TV will be live streaming all the days of testing and it will also feature a full live timing experience.
F1 TV Pro will be able to see each second of the tests while Sky F1 UK and Sky F1 Italia subscribers can also check out if Mercedes are still on top or if Ferrari have closed the gap with the 2020 cars.
F1 TV Pro will also feature a special Tech Talk show to highlight the key innovations brought in by the team, and that should be interesting viewing ahead of the new season.
The F1 website will also feature live timing and in-session clips while there should be more content on the social media channels and the F1 app.
