The Hungarian Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from 21-23 July at the picturesque Hungaroring Circuit. This is one of the most anticipated events in the motor racing calendar, held annually in Mogyoród. Since 1986, the race has been a round of the FIA Formula One World Championship. It was first held in 1936 and the 39th edition of the Hungarian GP will take place this weekend.

Hungaroring Circuit

The Hungaroring is positioned around 20 kilometers in the northeastern direction of Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. It is constructed within a charming valley, encompassed by picturesque scenery that offers spectators natural variations in elevation and beautiful sights. The circuit spans a distance of 4.381 kilometers and comprises 14 turns, incorporating a mix of medium-speed and slow corners, with only a few straight sections for high speeds.

The Hungaroring is renowned for its intricate and narrow layout, making it a technically challenging circuit that demands precision and an optimal car setup. Due to its twisty nature, overtaking opportunities are scarce, placing significant importance on qualifying performance and strategic pit stops to gain an advantageous position on the track. This venue has the capacity to accommodate a crowd of 70,000 spectators.
