Formula 1 game F1 2023’s release date has now been announced and it’s already available for pre-order
Codemasters and Electronic Arts, the designers of F1 2023 have announced the official release date of the game. F1 23 will be released worldwide on June 16 and is also available for pre-order, if you want it three days early on 13th June. The game will include new venues like the Losail International Circuit (Qatar GP) and the brand-new Las Vegas Strip Circuit ahead of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. It will also see the return of the story mode, which is known as the ‘Braking Point’.
Codemasters have a history of launching new games in July and it’s generally the second week of July. The early release this time in June definitely comes as a pleasant surprise for the players. Users can pre-order the game before it’s officially released like in previous editions.
By pre-ordering the Champions Edition, players will get three days of early access (from June 13). The Champions Edition cover features Max Verstappen while Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and Lando Norris feature on the standard edition cover.
Players will get the chance to step further into the glamourous world of F1 t with ‘F1 World’, which is an expansion of the last edition’s ‘F1 Life’. It is a customisable hub to show off supercars, clothing and accessories earned via gameplay, Podium Pass and the in-game store. The game also introduces a safety rating for online players which wasn’t there in the former editions.
F1 23 will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Linux platforms. Pre-orders are open for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the EA App, Origin, Steam, and Epic Store.
New handling redefines race day in this year’s edition of the official Formula 1 game, while immersive broadcasting helps bring you further into the action that includes F2, tweaked practice programmes, F1 Sprint, new formation lap procedures and Safety Car periods.
The game will feature overhauled driving physics and the option to set a 35% race distance. Red flags, which last appeared in F1 2014, have been re-introduced. The game’s UI has been overhauled for an experience much more akin to the presentation of current Formula One races.
