F1 Drive to Survive Season 2: Some F1 fans want to see teams imploding as trailer drops

Drive to Survive Season 2 will be out on 28 February and there are some interesting bits shown in the trailer

F1 Drive to Survive Season 2 will be out on 29 February as the much-awaited Netflix show is back.

It was a different take on the normally closed world of F1 teams as fans got a glimpse of all that takes place in the paddock.

Some of the bigger teams, such as Mercedes, declined to participate. However, that has changed as all the teams from 2019 feature in the Season 2 of Drive to Survive.

The trailer highlighted several drivers speaking about the previous season. Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly and Daniel Ricciardo moved to new teams with different agendas.

Sainz even went on to say that he didn’t know how to act as he raced for McLaren.

There was a lot of friction too as the Haas pair of Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean collided multiple times last season.

The team principal and the mechanics also hit out at their drivers while there was some sad news for Niko Hulkenberg.

The Hulk was left out of F1 for this season after his contract with Renault ran out. He was replaced by Esteban Ocon, who was the Mercedes reserve driver last year.

Fans want to see the spicy bits

Of course, some of the big crashes from last season are included but the trailer highlighted some great stories too.

Gasly and Sainz picking up podium finishes for their respective teams were great, but the clash between the Ferraris at Brazil wasn’t.

Most of the fans wanted to see the spicy stuff within the teams, and here are some of their reactions to the trailer:
