The Hungarian GP is scheduled to take place from 21st July to 23rd July at the picturesque Hungaroring circuit – how is the weather?

Cloudy and overcast conditions are set to welcome F1 teams and fans to the Hungaroring Circuit for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The temperature in Hungaroring at this time of year is very pleasant but mild showers are an usual sight. It is predicted to remain overcast throughout the weekend and scattered showers are a major cause for worry. There is a moderate chance of rainfall on all the first two days of the race weekend. Let us now take a detailed look at the weather forecast for this weekend.

Hungarian GP Weather

The practice sessions on Friday are likely to be affected by showers as there is a 70% chance of rainfall during the evening. Temperatures will be on the cooler side and the conditions are likely to remain the same for the qualifying race on Saturday. The weather is predicted to be ideal for racing on Sunday, which happens to be the race day. The race is likely to take place in clear conditions and that’s certainly good news for the fans who gave already bought tickets.

However, teams will have to keep their wet tyres ready and fans who plan to visit during the first two days should carry the necessary equipment to protect them from rain. Having said that, weather is not in anyone’s control and it remains to be seen how things turn out. We’ll certainly have our fingers crossed and hope for a thrilling and uninterrupted race.
