As the 2021 season is coming to it’s final stages no race can be taken lightly and weather can play a huge role in deciding the outcome of the race. Just like we saw at the 2021 Russian GP. Lewis Hamilton managed to secure his 100th race win with the help of rain last time out. Will race be a deciding factor yet again?

2021 F1 Turkish GP Weather Report

The weekend looks set to be the repeat of last year’s Turkish GP as rain is expected to fall during the weekend.

DayHighestLowest
FridayMostly Cloudy, 22 °C17°C
SaturdayRain, 22 °C 16 °C
SundayScattered Rain, 19 °C 15 °C

It can be seen that the weather reports reveal that there will be rain on Saturday as well as on Sunday. Whereas, the practice day is expected to be cloudy. However, the actual weather will only be known come Turkish GP weekend. The fans would expect that they get some Formula One action despite of the rain.

The weather report can be worrying however, heavy showers are not expected as of yet which means we should not miss out on racing action if the conditions stick to the reports.

Will Lewis Hamilton secure his 101th win?

Last Formula one weekend brought us intense drama. Lando Norris led the race until the 50th lap and still did not manage to get the job done. Rain played a deciding factor in the outcome of the race.

Norris decided to not change his tyres when it started raining heavily towards the end of the race and paid the price. He slipped off the track which gave Hamilton the chance to go past him. Because of this Hamilton was able to secure the win and also regain the leading spot on the championship standings.

Norris’ heartbreak resulted in joy for Hamilton as he secured his 100th race win making him the first driver ever to do so. Max Verstappen was highly impressive as well. The Dutch racer started the race from the last position and secured a second place finish.

Currently Hamilton leads Verstappen by only two points and will look to extend his lead at the top come race day. Verstappen on the other hand will try to do his best to get a better finish than Hamilton this weekend.

Verstappen is also trying to stop Hamilton from winning his eight title and rather secure his first Formula One championship. The Dutch driver certainly has his best chance this year to do so.
