The Alfa Romeo F1 Team has introduced a modified livery for the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix in order to showcase their collaboration with the streaming platform, Kick.

This partnership was established before the commencement of the 2023 season, and the Spa livery will mark the first time the new streaming platform’s branding prominently appears on the 2023 C43 car’s bodywork.

The cars driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will display vibrant green Kick logos and decals on various parts, including the front wing, rear wing, sidepod, and matching wheel rims.

Where does Alfa Romeo stand heading into the Belgian GP?

Alfa Romeo, based in Switzerland, experienced a notable improvement in performance during the recent Hungarian Grand Prix. Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas showcased their potential by qualifying in the fifth and seventh positions on the starting grid, respectively.

However, Zhou faced a setback due to a start issue, preventing him from earning points in the race. Bottas also encountered difficulties, finishing outside the top 10 after facing delays during the first lap. Despite the challenges, the team from Hinwil maintained their position in ninth place in the 2023 constructors’ championship standings, as they now head to the final race before the summer break at Spa-Francorchamps.

Despite the improvement in form, Alfa Romeo continue to lag behind the rest of the field. Defending champions Red Bull are miles ahead of the pack having accumulated 452 points, as we head into the summer break. Mercedes are significantly behind in second place, having earned 223 points. Aston Martin is placed third in the leaderboard with 184 points in their kitty while Ferrari are close in fourth spot with 167 points on board.
