Andreas Seidl will replace Frederic Vasseur as the Team Principal of Alfa Romeo from 2023 onwards

The off-season musical chair in Formula One continues as several developments take place on a busy day for all F1 teams. The latest development comes from McLaren as Team Principal Andreas Seidl is set to leave the team to join Alfa Romeo. Seidl will be replaced by Andrea Stella, who has been associated with McLaren for the last 15 years.

Seidl will take Vasseur’s place as the Team Principal of Alfa Romeo. Vasseur has moved on to replace the departing Mattia Binotto as the team Principal of Ferrari. Meanwhile, all these movements open up a great opportunity for Stella, who is now set to be the new Boss at McLaren. During his 15-year-long career at McLaren till date, Stella has worked in various roles – Performance Engineer, Race Engineer, Head of Race Operations and most recently as Racing Director.
