Here’s how the 2023 F1 constructors’ championship standings look like heading into the month-long summer break

Red Bull appear to be in a different league altogether as F1 teams head into the month-long summer break. It is not a surprise that they lead both the drivers’ and constructors’ championship standings but the margin is quite scary. They lead the constructors’ table with a whopping 503 points – 246 points ahead of their closest rivals Mercedes. Aston Martin and Ferrari are further behind with 196 and 191 points respectively.

At the same stage in 2022, Red Bull were leading the table as well but had accumulated 396 points – only 82 points more than the second-placed Ferrari. They have taken the dominance to another level this season and it will need a huge miracle for any other team to even come close to them.

Max Verstappen has been miles ahead of the rest and has been ably supported by Sergio Perez. The margin of lead is astonishing and most fans on social media can’t help but admit that the championship seems to be over even before the summer break. Let us take a look at some of the reactions from the fans.
