Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz vow to come back stronger in Miami

Ferrari suffered a major hiccup in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix with Carlos Sainz registering a DNF and Charles Leclerc failing to make the podium. Ferrari failed to continue its incredible run in Imola. They were the favourites to dominate the race on home turf, in a circuit name after their late founder but it was not to be. Carlos Sainz registered a DNF while Charles Leclerc finished in 6th place.

Charles Leclerc took to Twitter to apologise to his fans for not living up to expectations and promised to come back stronger in the next race – the Miami Grand Prix.

Leclerc’s team-mate Carlos Sainz expressed his disappointment on Twitter on not being able to finish the race and similar to Leclerc vowed to put up a good show in Miami.

Fans expressed their support for both drivers and brushed it off as a one-off performance. Followers are totally looking forward to a good show from the duo in Miami.

“Don’t worry Carlos , you still have 18 more races, keep calm and stay strong”, a fan replied to Sainz’s tweet.

Another fan had words of motivation for Sainz. “Don’t be rough on yourself. You’re an awesome talent with a great car. Loads of races left. You’ll be back in the mix before you know it”, he wrote.

Leclerc recieved his fair share of support and kind words as well.

“Charles, you’re a great driver, this year ferrari has one of the best cars on the grid (if not the best)… everyone makes some mistakes. The important thing is not to give up and get better every time. Love from italy! Buona fortuna per la prossima gara charles”, a fan replied to Leclerc’s tweet.

Another Ferrari fan had words of advice for Leclerc and at the same time sounded confident about his come back in Miami. “Why changing the front wing .. You could have been P4 or even P4 .. Anyway .. You’ll come back stronger .. Hope the upgrades make the Ferrari faster.Forza Ferrari, Forza Charles”, he tweeted.
