The BWT Alpine Team have unveiled a special pink livery for Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
The Groupe Renault owned team will be seen in a pink dominant avatar for the first two GPs of the season. They will revert back to their more regular blue-dominated livery thereafter. The Oxfordshire based team launched their blue and pink A522 challenger series car in an extravagant launch show in Paris.
This is not the first time that we have seen it all-pink in Formula one. Previously, the Force India team was seen in their pink dominant display owing to the same sponsor, BWT. 4-time champion racer, Germany’s Sebastian Vettel has raced with a Pink F1 helmet. He is an ambassador of BWT. BWT, a water treatment company is known for its pink schemes to boost its campaign of making healthy drinking water available all around the world.
What’s in store for Alpine F1 team this season?
BWT Alpine F1 team have made wholesale changes ahead of the 2022-23 season. They have restructured their management as a part of which, Marcel Szafnauer has become the new team Principal. There has been no change in their drivers’ line up though. Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon will once again be behind the steering wheel for the team.
The Alpine A522 car is constructed by Alpine and designed under the leadership of Pat Fry (CTO). It is Alpine’s first car under the 2022 technical regulations.
