Martin Brundle and David Croft are close friends and colleagues at Sky Sports Network
Former F1 racing driver and F1 expert commentator Martin Brundle took to Twitter to congratulate David Croft on his engagement. Brundle and Croft have been colleagues since 2009, working closely together at BBC Radio and currently at the Sky Sports F1 coverage team. Brundle wished his friend and colleague on Twitter after Croft himself announced the news of his engagement to long-time partner Laura Bradley.
52-year-old Croft himself announced the news of his engagement on social media. “I asked, she answered, we鈥檙e now engaged. A Christmas Day proposal to my soulmate, thanks for saying yes @lozbradley Bloody love you”, he wrote on Twitter. The British commentator also shared a picture of himself along with his partner on Instagram. Brundle congratulated the couple: “Congrats you two. That鈥檚 great.”
Martin Brundle and David Croft have been colleagues for more than a decade
Martin Brundle is a professional racing driver turned commentator while Croft is primarily a television presenter and host. Their paths crossed in 2009 when Brundle joined BBC’s F1 coverage team. Croft was already working there as an F1 commentator since 2006 while Brundle was associated with ITV till 2008. Brundle and Croft worked together at BBC for three years till 2011 before leaving the network together in favour of Sky Sports.
Since 2012, Brundle and Croft have been an integral part of Sky Sports network’s F1 coverage. Besides being colleagues, the British duo are very close friends and share a tremendous amount of mutual admiration and respect for each other’s work. Their association continues to grow with each passing season and F1 fans absolutely love the duo’s work behind the microphone.
