Why is Laguna Seco so iconic?
The Laguna Seca is so iconic becasue of it’s rich history. The track was built back in 1957 on a dried Lake bed and has been regularly hosting races ever since. F1 races have been held on the track in the past, however, that was more than 28 years ago.
The track is also famous for it’s deadly corner called the ‘corkscrew’ which is considered by many the most dangerous corner in the country of United States. The Laguna Seca is also considered to be the Mecca of motorsport racing in the country. Apart from car racing, motorbike racing has also been held at the tract as recent as 2020 when MotoAmerica was held here.
