Here’s a look at the 2022 Azerbaijan GP preview, schedule, live stream details and our predictions for the weekend
The 2022 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place at the Baku City Circuit, giving fans a view of modern architecture as well as historic buildings around the capital city of Azerbaijan. This is the 5th edition of the Grand Prix and is scheduled to take place from the 10th – to the 12th of June.
The Azerbaijan GP takes place at the Baku City Circuit – an FIA Grade 1 licensed circuit. It spans a total length of 6 km including 20 turns and has a capacity of 18,500. The circuit hosted an F1 Grand Prix for the first time, five years back in 2017.
No driver has won the Grand Prix twice since its inaugural edition in 2017. In the last edition, Red Bull’s Sergio Perez finished on top of the podium followed by Sebastian Vettel and Pierre Gasly. Valtteri Bottas (2019), Lewis Hamilton (2018), and Daniel Ricciardo (2017) are the winners of the previous editions.
McLaren and Red Bull are the most successful constructors so far the Azerbaijan GP with 2 titles each while Max Verstappen has recorded the fastest lap at this Grand Prix.

Another intense Verstappen – Leclerc duel is on the cards in Baku. The Ferrari driver has to step up and push for a win if he has to cover the gap at the top of the drivers’ championship. The ever-consistent Sergio Perez and George Russell are certainly in contention for a podium finish along with Carlos Sainz.
P1 for Max Verstappen, P2 for Sergio Perez and P3 for Charles Leclerc is our prediction for the race in Baku.
