Published by

The French Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from 22-24 July at Circuit Paul Ricard – how is the weather there?

The French GP is set for warm and sunny conditions throughout the race weekend. There are no rain showers forecast and all three days are likely to be hot. Highs of 33 degrees Celsius are predicted on Sunday for the start of the race. The conditions are quite contrasting to what we had in Austria last week and teams will have to adjust quickly.

Friday is expected to get off to a bright and sunny start as the F1 drivers take to the track for the first time. Temperatures are expected to peak at 33 degrees Celsius, although 11mph winds will bring this down as the day progresses.

Saturday will see the lowest temperature of the weekend – 30 degrees Celsius the wind dropping to just 8mph and the threat of rain nil. The warmest part of the day also coincides with the start of the qualifying, meaning conditions should be optimal for racing.

Sunday – the race day will see the highest temperature of the weekend at possibly 34 degrees celsius. No chances of rain for sure and winds are expected cool the temperature down towards the evening.
