George Russell answered a lot of awkward questions from fans but seemed to be having a lot of fun during the session
Mercedes driver George Russell was at his candid best while answering questions from fans during a ‘Ask Me Anything session on Reddit. Russell took part in the session on Friday ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix practice session. George Russell himself selected some hilarious questions which fans threw at him and answered during the session. Both Russell and the fans appeared to have a great time interacting among themselves.
From what Toto Wolff smells like to why George Russell’s shirtless Instagram pictures have dropped in number, fans threw several awkward questions at the British driver. Russell was being a great sport and answered most of those questions. F1 is often seen as a very serious sport but drivers like Russell absolutely love interacting with fans and it was visible in this fun session.

“I mean Toto smells pretty good, but I can’t think of a specific scent. He smells like success. I’ll say that”, Russell came up with a hilarious reply to a fan who asked how Mercedes boss Toto Wolff smells like.
“These questions are too good. I mean, there is not a huge difference between 1 Tsunoda and 1 large duck. It’s a tough one though, I’m going back and forth on it. I’ll go with 1 Tsunoda sized duck”, Russell replied to another funny question from a fan.
“I think one of the biggest skills I’ve learned about Lewis since being teammates with him is how great he is at working with his team, getting everybody motivated and all pushing towards the same ultimate goal. I think when you are travelling around the world so much and you are going through a bit of a rollercoaster of a season that’s a very important part of his job, one of which he does very well”, read Russell’s response to the question below.
“I’ve seen a lot of them… but ‘George Russell is the type of guy to say “excuse my French” after he swears’ is probably my favourite. That’s pretty funny! The first comment on this question, “kind of guy who’d answer this question”, is also very good”, Russell replied to another interesting question.
“Why the drop of shirtless posts on Instagram? – came a question, something which many fans have been wondering for sure. Russell clarified the reason behind that as well.
