The Monaco GP is set to stay in F1 till 2025 despite rumours that it could be removed from 2023 onwards

Formula 1 will continue to race in Monaco until 2025 as per the new three-year deal made with the Automobile Club of Monaco. Monte Carlo’s streets have been an important part of the championship since the first round there back in 1950. The venue offers a unique challenge for drivers and a backdrop that is famous around the world, making it one of the most iconic GPs in F1. In 2023, the Monaco GP will take place on May 28.

The official announcement was made by Stefano Domenicali, the CEO and President of F1. “I am pleased to confirm that we will race in Monaco until 2025 and excited to be back on the streets of this famous Principality for next year’s Championship on May 28″, Domenicali said. The President of ACM, Michel Boeri also expressed his delight, stating: “In the interest of the Formula One World Championship, and after several months of negotiations, we are proud to announce that we have signed a three-year agreement with Formula One.”
