Stroll had suffered injuries after a bike crash just ahead of the pre-season test in Bahrain. The Aston Martin was training in Spain for the new season and the unfortunate accident occurred while he was on his bike. As a result of this incident, Stroll missed the F1 pre-Season test run in Bahrain from 23-25 February and there were minimal chances of him being fit in time for the season-opener. However, he did recover, finished P6 and it is nothing short of a miracle.
