Max Verstappen sealed his second F1 World Championship title after cruising to victory at the Japanese GP
A picture of Lewis Hamilton shaking hands with Max Verstappen after the latter won the Japanese GP and the world championship title, has gone viral on the internet. Hamilton is congratulating his counterpart on a fantastic campaign. The photo was shared by ESPN F1’s official handle on Twitter and reactions have poured in on Twitter, with everyone sharing their individual opinions.
‘Nothing but Respect’ is what ESPN have captioned the image and both the drivers share immense amount of mutual respect although the fans are always busy in trolls on social media. With this Championship win, Verstappen has now joined an exclusive club comprising Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher among others as the very few drivers to be crowned back-to-back world champions. Verstappen (2) has still got a long way to go to catch up with Hamilton (7) though, for the total number of world championship titles.
