Let us take a look at the weather forecast for the Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled to take place this weekend at the Suzuka Circuit
F1 action moves to Japan this weekend and fans will have a close eye on the weather. We would hate a situation where rain plays spoilsport on race day and as of now, things look a bit dicey. Let us now take a detailed look at the weather forecast for this weekend’s Japanese GP.
Conditions are a bit of a concern ahead of the 2022 Japanese Grand Prix weekend,- Sunny, warm and pleasant conditions are expected for the sessions on Saturday at the Suzuka Circuit, with temperatures of about 24-25° for the entire duration of the practice and qualifying sessions. However, it looks gloomy both on Friday and for the race on Sunday.
On Friday, there is an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms and that might put the practice sessions at risk. The probability of showers decreases to 60% on Sunday – race day. Thunderstorms are also expected towards late evening and fans would hope all of that happens only after the race is done.
What is the schedule of the Japanese Grand Prix?
Practice 1: Friday, October 7 – 08:30 IST
Practice 2: Friday, October 7 – 11:30 IST
Practice 3: Saturday, October 8 –08:30 IST
Qualifying: Saturday, October 8 – 11:30 IST
Race: Sunday, October 9 – 10:30 IST
