Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok is married to Akshara Kothari and the couple have a son together – Kushant
Karun Chandhok presented a really cool set of F1 cars to his son, Kushant on the little one’s birthday. Chandhok junior seems to have taken after his father and appears to be an F1 enthusiast from early childhood. Former Indian professional racing driver, Chandhok, spent two seasons in Formula One representing HRT and Lotus.
Chandhok himself shared the pictures on social media. The set includes eleven different car models depicting various F1 teams and even includes a separate safety car. The cars are placed on a track model, which Chandhok revealed was gifted to him by his parents, 32 years ago!
Let us take a look at some of the reactions from fans on Twitter.
“I have those exact same track pieces somewhere in my parent’s attic – happy memories of building my own racetracks with them (and I hope your son has the same joy)”, wrote a fan, who could totally relate.
“So great to see F1 cars that young kids can properly play with, engage imagination, have races and absorb themselves in thoroughly. Was Matchbox, Corgi and Polistil cars that I loved as a kid…love this! And Happy Birthday”, tweeted another fan.
“LOL, in that first picture he has his favourite driver Sainz checking out in the lead while the rest of the field is in shambles”, a fan correctly pointed out.
“Hi Karun, looks great…are you sure its for your son as you seem to enjoy it as much as him ! Great family pics”, joked another fan.
Another fan wrote: “Oh my gosh, I remember those track pieces! Also, TOO CUTE!”
