Here’s everything you need to know about the family of F1 star Kevin Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen has several reasons to rejoice as he heads into this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix. The Haas driver recently shared the wonderful news of his second daughter’s birth, named Agnes.

The 30-year-old can look forward to a joyous time after the race, regardless of the results, as he embraces the role of a father for the second time. Magnussen happily announced on social media that his wife gave birth to Agnes on Monday, expressing love and admiration for both his new daughter and his wife, Louise Gjørup, whom he referred to as a superstar.

Before this weekend’s race, Kevin Magnussen will be eager to increase his points tally for the 2023 season, which currently stands at just two points. While Haas has shown promising performance on Saturdays, especially with Nico Hulkenberg behind the wheel, the team has struggled to translate that into positive race outcomes. Magnussen finds himself in the 18th position in the driver standings, trailing his teammate and long-time rival Hulkenberg by seven points as they head into the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Laura Magnussen was born seven weeks earlier than expected on January 11, 2021. She was supposed to arrive in the month of February. Laura was required to remain in the hospital until her condition improved to the point where she was robust enough to be discharged. Laura is often spotted in the F1 paddock with his father and is quite a fan favourite. After the birth of Agnes, she will now have a lot more company at home.
