Lewis Hamilton started his 307th race at the United States Grand Prix last weekend
Lewis Hamilton has moved up to fourth place in the all-time list of racers with the most races in F1. Hamilton started his 307th race last weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in the United States. Hamilton has overtaken Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button (both with 306 race starts) and now occupies fourth place behind Fernando Alonso (352), Kimi Raikkonen (349) and Rubens Barrichello (322).
Earlier this season, Hamilton made his 300th Grand Prix start at the French Grand Prix, becoming the sixth driver in the history of the sport to achieve this impressive milestone. Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso, Rubens Barichello, Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button are the only driver apart from Hamilton, who are a part of this exclusive list. This happens to be another feather in the cap of the seven-time world champion.
In his illustrious F1 career, spanning over 307 starts to date, Hamilton has registered 103 wins and 189 podium finishes along with a record seven World Championship titles. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest F1 drivers in the history of the sport.
Fans react to Lewis Hamilton’s milestone on Twitter
Let us take a look at how fans on Twitter reacted to Hamilton’s landmark achievement.
“Huge congratulations to Sir Lewis Hamilton! Plus if he at least sees out his contract with Mercedes until the end of next year, then he will jump to #3 surpassing Rubens Barrichello”, wrote a fan.
“Alonso not retiring before Lewis so he can finally win something over him. Big brain”, trolled another fan.
“we are really blessed that we have been able to appreciate lewis driving f1 cars for so many races”, tweeted an over-whelmed fan.

“Feels like he passes Kimi, but maybe not Alsono if that mad man goes 3-4 more years”, wrote another fan.
