Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are batting for the World Championship with just two races to go in the season

Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton has spoken about the ongoing Championship race and the England driver feels that the current World Championship has been the hardest of all the previous Championship wins.

Hamilton is chasing his eighth Championship triumph and is currently second on the table as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has given him a tough time this season. There are still two races to go this year and there is hardly room for an error for both the drivers now.

He is currently tied with legendary Michael Schumacher in title wins, and Hamilton believed if he somehow wins this year – it will be the toughest of the lot. At one point in the season – he was a massive 32 points behind the Dutch driver – but now the difference is just 8.

“If I get the job done, I think it will, yes. But also, no one has ever been able to fight for an eighth, aside from Michael. It is a new position, uncharted territory.”

“This is the best I have been able to give in a year, the training, the time balance that I have. I made every sacrifice I could this year. I don’t think I have left anything undone, so at this point of the year there are no regrets.”

Lewis Hamilton vs Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen has a slower car than Lewis Hamilton but with an eight-point lead – he is the one who will be going in with confidence and he would love to end the streak of Hamilton.

During the last two races in Brazilian and Qatar – McLaren looked more powerful than Red Bull and the results are proof of that. So surely the last two races will be one hell of an encounter for fans out there.
