Irish airline Ryanair has taken a cheeky dig at Mercedes F1 team – here’s everything you need to know about it

Mercedes might have got a warm welcome on their arrival to Spain but the reception was not so cordial on social media. Irish airlines ‘Ryanair‘, who are known for indulging in banter with F1 teams, has taken a cheeky dig at Mercedes on Twitter and the F1 team didn’t hesitate to respond. The hilarious interaction has gone viral on social media in no time and fans have joined in on the banter.

The banter began after Mercedes updated on Twitter that they have left for Barcelona for this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix. Raynair’s Twitter handle taunted them by referring to their recurring technical problems this season and wrote: “Don’t blame us if a wheel is missing.” Mercedes were a good sport and responded: “Just pleased we got a window seat”. However, it was Raynair who had the final laugh. “Good for watching Max fly past”, their hilarious response read.

When is the Spanish Grand Prix scheduled to take place?
