Nicholas Latifi bids goodbye to professional racing – here’s everything you need to know about his MBA venture.

Former Formula 1 driver Nicholas Latifi recently made a significant career decision by opting to move away from the world of racing. Instead, he has enrolled in an MBA program at London Business School.

After participating in 61 F1 races for Williams, achieving his best result of seventh place in the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, the Canadian driver has been keeping a low profile since losing his F1 seat at the end of the previous year.

Latifi has chosen not to pursue other racing categories in the short term and recently shared on social media that he has been contemplating his career prospects throughout the year. Ultimately, he has decided to completely step away from racing and focus on pursuing his studies.

After deciding to pursue an MBA, Latifi invested time in researching the best institution for his studies and diligently prepared his applications. His effort paid off, as he has been accepted to study in London. Despite having numerous opportunities to return to competitive racing, Latifi viewed the loss of his Formula 1 seat as an ideal moment to explore other career interests. While the MBA program will likely consume his focus for the next few years, he hasn’t completely dismissed the possibility of making a comeback to the racing world in the future.

“This is not necessarily a goodbye to the racing world forever,” he said. Latifi made it clear that racing has been his life since the age of 13 and is still something he is extremely passionate about.
