Red Bull’s Sergio Perez will start the race from fourth spot behind Max Verstappen, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton
Sergio Perez‘s father Antonio Perez believes that his son will win the Mexican GP in front of home fans on Sunday night. Perez had a decent qualifying round but he will start the race in fourth place and will face an uphill task to topple all three in front of him. However, senior Perez is confident his son has what it takes to win on home turf. “Ready for the win tomorrow?” – Antonio said confidently after the qualifying round on Saturday.
Sergio Perez is coming to the Mexican in third place in the overall drivers’ championship. The Mexican driver has already won two races this season – Monaco GP and Singapore GP and would look to seal another win on home turf at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. He is certainly the favorite to do so but will face a tough challenge from teammate Max Verstappen and the likes of Leclerc, Hamilton, Sainz, and Russell.
