For the second week running Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc won the Driver of the Day – this time at the Saudi Arabian GP 2022
Charles Leclerc had yet another impressive outing for the second straight week after finishing second at the 2022 Saudi Arabian GP.
However, he would be a tad disappointed after he lost P1 in the dying moments of the race, to rival, Max Verstappen.
Starting at P2, Leclerc took P1 after the safety car played spoilsport to Sergio Perez’s P1, only to lose it to Perez’s teammate in the end.
Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz finished third to cap off yet another podium double for Ferrari. Perez finished 4th, followed by Mercedes’ George Russell.
All in all, it was a good outing for Ferrari and Red Bull – who look to be constructor championship contenders this year.
Charles Leclerc way ahead of Max Verstappen in poll
Charles Leclerc received 26.8% of the votes to win the Driver of the Day at the 2022 Saudi Arabian GP.
At number 2 was Max Verstappen who finished 1st in the race. The Dutch driver received 14.5% of the votes.
