Singapore GP 2022: Weather forecast–how’s the weather like at Marina Bay?

Published by

The Singapore Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from 30th September to 2nd October at the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit

F1 action moves to Singapore this weekend after a week-long break and fans will have a close eye on the weather. We would hate a situation where rain plays spoilsport on race day and as of now, things look a bit dicey. Let us now take a detailed look at the weather forecast for this weekend’s Singapore GP.

Conditions are a bit of a concern ahead of the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix weekend: Sunny, warm and pleasant conditions are expected for the two qualifying sessions on Friday at the Marina Bay circuit, with temperatures of about 27-28° for the entire race. However, it looks gloomy in the next two days.

On Saturday, there is a 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms and that might put the qualifying session at risk. The probability of showers increases to 70% on Sunday – the race day. Thunderstorms are also expected towards late evening and fans would hope all of that happens only after the race is done.
