Alex Albon earned two valuable points for his team, Williams and himself after securing a P9 finish at the inaugural Miami GP

Alex Albon put up a commendable show in Miami to secure an impressive P9 finish at the Miami Grand Prix. The Williams’ driver was placed 18th in the starting grid and a jump of 9 places to secure two valuable points, definitely calls for celebrations. This is Albon’s second top 10 finish of the season and the Thai driver presently occupies the third place in the drivers’ championship with 3 points.

Before Miami, Albon’s other top 10 finish this season came in the Australian GP. Alex Albon put up a stellar show at the Albert Park Circuit to secure a P10 finish and earn the first points of the 2022 F1 season for himself and his team. Albon started the race on the 20th spot in the grid after being disqualified in the qualifying run. A jump of 10 spots for Albon was certainly one of the highlights from the Australian Grand Prix.

The Thai driver is clearly elated to have secured his best finish of the 2022 season so far and took to Twitter to reveal that his ‘lucky omen’ – the red hair is here to stay.

The red hair certainly played the role of a lucky charm for Albon in Miami. And, fans seem to love the look of it too!
