Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel have been close friends for more than a decade

Pictures of Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel partying together have taken the internet by storm. While the F1 fraternity prepares for the Azerbaijan GP this weekend, Ricciardo and Vettel don’t seem to be perturbed as they are no longer a regular part of Formula One.

In a post shared by Ricciardo on social media, the two friends can be seen dancing and partying together in an unidentified pub. The pictures have gone viral in no time and reactions have poured in from fans across various platforms.

Some fans have taken a dig at the two drivers, labelling them as “unemployed” while others have got emotional, reminiscing about the good old days when the two idrivers ruled the F1 circuit. Let us take a look at some of those reactions.

It is indeed great to see Ricciardo and Vettel enjoying their time together and continuing to share a wholesome friendship. Back in 2014, both the drivers used to be team-mates at Red Bull and shared some incredible moments together. Their friendship has only gotten stronger with time and fans absolutely love to see it as is evident from the reactions.

Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo are no longer full-time part of F1

Vettel retired from F1 at the end of last season while Ricciardo is currently a reserve driver with the Red Bull team. Vettel will bid goodbye to F1 in 2022 as a legend of the sport. The German saw out the final days of his career with Aston Martin and finished third on the list of all-time Grand Prix winners with 53 victories, trailing only Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher.

Meanwhile, Ricciardo joined Red Bull at the start of the 2023 season after McLaren terminated his contract. Oscar Piastri was brought in to replace him and the Australian was duly roped in by Red Bull as the reserve driver to cover for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez whenever required. However, we are three races into the new season and Ricciardo is yet to get any time on the track. It remains to be seen if he eventually drives at any of the remaining Grands Prix this season before bidding goodbye to the sport.
