Daniel Ricciardo is making the most of his leisure time ahead of this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix – showcasing his boxing skills

Daniel Ricciardo has arrived in Brazil and appears to be enjoying his time in the country ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix in Sao Paulo. The McLaren driver met his good friend, Charles Oliveira, soon after landing in the country and also took part in a few friendly bouts. Oliveira is a professional mixed martial artist and a former UFC Lightweight champion.

In a video shared on Twitter by McLaren’s official handle, Ricciardo can be seen displaying his boxing skills inside the cage. The Australian is throwing punches at Oliveira which the Brazilian seems to be defending pretty easily – all on a light note of course. Ricciardo will be seen in action this weekend at the Sao Paulo circuit, in what could potentially be the penultimate F1 race of his career.

The Australian is entering his final few races as a McLaren driver and potentially his last few days as a Formula 1 racer. If Ricciardo eventually is not a part of F1 next season, his enthusiasm and showmanship will certainly be missed in the paddock.
