Italian social media sensation Khaby Lame tried his hand at racing in Abu Dhabi during the Pirelli Hot Lap

Khaby Lame has moved on from social media to the racing track as he tried his hand behind the steering wheel at the Pirelli Hot Lap in Abu Dhabi. Lame is an established star on the social media platform – Tik Tok and is a recognisable face across the globe. Earlier this year, Lame became TikTok’s most-followed creator, surpassing Charli D’Amelio with 142.1 million followers.

In a video shared by Formula One’s official handle, Lame can be seen enjoying his time in a DBX707. His famous expressions were on display even while he was driving the car and absolutely entertained the fans on social media. Lame was invited as a guest in F1’s exclusive Pirelli Hot Lap programme. Pirelli Hot Laps are when a professional driver takes invited guests, celebrities, journalists and invited dignitaries around an F1 circuit in a performance-orientated road car.
