Sebastian Vettel is set to retire from F1 after the Abu Dhabi GP this weekend
Lewis Hamilton called Sebastian Vettel a ‘nuisance’ in a light-hearted conversation ahead of the season’s final race in Abu Dhabi. Hamilton, Vettel, Fernando Alonso, and Yuki Tsunoda participated in this fun session, where drivers spoke about their most memorable moments with Vettel. Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will officially retire from the sport after this weekend’s race.
When asked about his rivalry with Vettel, Hamilton mischievously said: “What do I think of Seb? He was a bit of a nuisance back then.” Vettel was quick to reply, stating: “Sorry, it’s your answer, but Baku, the collision in the 2017 race, for me wasn’t a great moment, because what I did wasn’t right, but I think from that moment onwards our friendship got better. So I don’t want that to not happen.”
Despite their differences, Vettel and Hamilton have been very close friends and are two of the greatest icons of the sport.
