Max Verstappen stands on top of the podium at the Japanese GP after cruising to victory ahead of Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc. Rain played spoilsport in Suzuka but Verstappen was at his best as soon as the race resumed after the red flag. Charles Leclerc initially reached home in second place but he was later given a five-second penalty and as a result, Sergio Perez was promoted to the second spot while Leclerc eventually finishes third.
