Roger Federer recently retired from tennis but here’s a golden throwback to his teenage days

A picture of Roger Federer‘s room from his teenage days has gone viral on the internet. In the picture, some of the noticeable things include his trophies, pin-ups of basketball icon Michael Jordan, actress Pamela Anderson, a Macedonian flag among other stuff. 17-year-old Federer can be seen sporting a Nike sweatshirt and a cap.

It is evident from the image that young Federer used to be an avid NBA fan. Besides having a big pin-up of Michael Jordan on his wall, he also had one of Shaquille O’Neal. All of us have had posters of our heroes on our walls of time and Federer was no different. In fact, Federer has revealed later that he is a huge Jordan fan.

“Absolutely, I watched every Sunday show. Michael was the guy, he transcended basketball and was a hero for our entire generation, I think so”, Federer had revealed in a video, explaining his fandom.
