Here’s everything you need to know about the residence of F1 star Pierre Gasly – where does he live?
Pierre Gasly moved to Milan, Italy from France in 2019. He is currently acquiring the language and achieved his inaugural victory in a race held in Italy in 2021. Milan, being a conveniently short flight away from France, allows him to visit his family with ease, which he finds advantageous.
Moreover, it serves as an alluring destination for his friends, who are more likely to visit him there compared to a remote location. The city’s urban atmosphere aligns perfectly with his diverse range of interests, as it frequently hosts events related to music, fashion, cinema, and gastronomy.
Although Gasly is conscious of his dietary choices, Milan boasts an array of exceptional restaurants. Beyond these aspects, the city’s overall vibe and energy resonate harmoniously with him.
During his younger days, Gasly frequently visited Milan to participate in kart races, creating a strong sense of familiarity and comfort within himself. The connection to that location has always been positive, and he continues to experience a profound sense of well-being whenever he is there. The Italian culture holds a special appeal to Gasly as well. He appreciates the emotional intensity displayed by the Italians, which resonates with his own way of navigating through life as he also relies on emotions to guide him.
Gasly was born in Rouen, France, and his parents are Jean-Jacques Gasly and Pascale. Among five siblings, he holds the position of the youngest, with four half-brothers. Two of them are from his mother’s previous marriage, named Nicolas Caron and Cyril Caron. The other two half-brothers originate from his father’s previous marriage, known as Phillipe Gasly and Paul Gasly.
Gasly comes from a family with a strong history in motorsports. His grandfather was involved in karting, and his grandmother was a kart champion. Gasly’s father, Jean Jacques, has an impressive racing background, having competed in various racing categories such as karting, endurance racing, and rallying.
Unfortunately, his father had to give up rallying after a serious incident where he fell off a mountain due to a mistake made by his co-driver while reading the pace note.
Gasly’s own journey in motorsports began at a young age. At six years old, he had his first taste of karting at a local track in Anneville-Ambourville. As his passion for competitive racing grew, at the age of 13, he left his hometown of Rouen and moved to Le Mans to pursue his dedication to racing before eventually settling down in Milan.
