Pierre Gasly participated in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit. A fan asked the Frenchman to pick his own Frankenstein F1 track and Gasly duly obliged. Let us take a look at the circuits which Gasly opted for.

1. Maggotts and Becketts (Silverstone Circuit): Maggotts and Becketts are a sequence of high-speed corners at the Silverstone Circuit in England. They are known for being a challenging and iconic part of the track. Maggotts is the first corner of the sequence, followed immediately by Becketts, and then Chapel Curve. The combination requires precise and skillful driving due to its high-speed nature, making it a favorite among drivers and fans alike. The curves demand a good balance of speed and control, as well as a well-set-up car to navigate smoothly.

Suzuka Circuit

2. Suzuka Circuit (Japan): The first sector of Suzuka is known for its mix of high-speed and technical corners, testing both driver skill and car performance. It’s one of the highlights of the track and a favorite among both drivers and fans for its challenging and rewarding characteristics. It consists of six turns.

3. Marina Bay (Singapore): The Singapore F1 track stands out for being a night race, with the entire circuit illuminated by thousands of floodlights. This creates a visually stunning backdrop against the city’s skyline. The track layout incorporates a mix of tight corners, long straights, and challenging braking zones, making it a demanding circuit for both drivers and cars.

It’s known for its grand architecture and opulent interiors. While the casino is not physically on the Formula One track, it’s situated in close proximity to it, and the cars do pass by the Casino Square section of the track during the race. The presence of the Casino de Monte-Carlo and the surrounding upscale environment adds to the unique and glamorous atmosphere of the Monaco Grand Prix, making it one of the most prestigious and famous races on the Formula One calendar.

5. Hungaroring Circuit (Hungary): Hungaroring is known for its tight and technical nature, which can make overtaking challenging. However, the track’s layout also means that a well-handling car can excel here. The Hungarian Grand Prix held at the Hungaroring is a popular event on the Formula One calendar due to its unique characteristics and the lively atmosphere in the nearby city of Budapest.

Brazilian GP

6. Interlagos Circuit (Brazil): The second sector of the Interlagos circuit is known for its technical corners and elevation changes.
