Julia Piquet is the daughter of Nelson Piquet, a Brazilian race car driver and three-time Formula One World Champion. At the age of thirty, Julia works at Motorsport.com and holds an MBA degree from the University of Miami. She also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management. Throughout her career, she has been satisfied with her salary and enjoys a comfortable lifestyle. Her older sister is the renowned model Kelly Piquet.
In 2019, Julia Piquet began a relationship with Mexican professional racing driver Daniel Suárez. Their introduction was through mutual acquaintances, and they instantly clicked. Suárez proposed to Julia during a romantic getaway that took them to Paris, Venice, and the Maldives.
The proposal itself occurred in Venice, where Suárez knelt down and asked the question. Since 2019, when their relationship began, Julia has been a devoted fan of NASCAR, often seen in the stands at various races, enthusiastically supporting her boyfriend. Coincidentally, Suárez and Dutch Formula One driver Max Verstappen share a strong friendship. Kelly Piquet was born in Homburg, Germany. She is the child of Nelson Piquet, a Brazilian racing driver who achieved the title of Formula One World Champion three times, and Sylvia Tamsma, a Dutch model. Starting in January 2017, Piquet initiated a romantic relationship with Russian Formula One driver Daniil Kvyat.
They became parents to a daughter in July 2019. However, their relationship concluded in December of that same year. From January 2021 onward, Piquet has been publicly involved with Max Verstappen, a Dutch Formula One World Champion who has won the title twice.
While in college, she pursued an internship in the fashion industry and found herself drawn to its allure. She gained experience at various notable places including Vogue Latinoamérica, Bergdorf Goodman, and the KCD PR agency. Alongside these roles, she also contributed as a columnist for Marie Claire magazine.
In the realm of modeling, Piquet participated in photoshoots for brands such as PatBO and Lucas Boccalão. Additionally, she made appearances on fashion runways for select shows. In April 2015, her responsibilities expanded to encompass social media coverage for Formula E, solidifying her involvement in the motorsport arena.
