Dota 2 is an MOBA where players tussle against others in 5v5 PvP battles. You play as a hero and join with other allies to defeat enemies and capture their base structure called Ancient. Dota 2 battles take place on different maps and players can use skills and experience points to win battles. Dota 2 has been an integral part of the e-Sports and the new tournament has ended.

DreamLeague is a Dota 2 eSports tournament held by ESL Gaming and the Season 23 of DreamLeague ended as Team Falcons continued their domination and won this online tournament. Oliver Lepko and Wu Jingjun have contributed for Team Falcons throughout the tournament. 

Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 23 

DreamLeague Season 23 featured 12 teams including 8 from the regional qualifiers and 4 from the EPT leaderboard. Teams were divided into 2 groups and it was a round-robin format. Teams were awarded cash prize and EPT Points as well. Team Falcons won the DreamLeague 23rd season followed by Gaimin Gladiators, BetBoom Team and Xtreme Gaming.

After winning DreamLeague Season 22, Team Falcons continued their dominance in the season 23 as well. Sneyking was the captain of the team that defeated the team Gaimin Gladiators by 3-0. Team Falcons only lost 2 games in the DreamLeague 2024 tournament and they were the favorites for the finals as well. Team Falcons secured the first prize in the Dota 2 eSports tournament for the Europe region in 2024 and won a cash prize of $300,000 along with 6,000 Points. Team Gaimin Gladiators were the runners-up and they received $175,000 and 5,000 EPT Points.

DreamLeague Season 2 featuring top Dota 2 teams just ended. The next season of Dota 2  DreamLeague will be out in 2025. The next season will feature the top teams from the current season along with new teams from the regional qualifiers.

What’s the New Dota 2 Patch Update?

The new Dota 2 patch update version 7.36 is live as heroes receive buffs and nerfs. There are many gameplay changes as well. Here are all major patch notes for the new Dota 2 update,

  • Gris-Gris tooltip has been fixed 
  • Venomancer’s Plague Ward crash is sorted 
  • Yasha and Kaya Cast Speed stacking issue is fixed
  • The wrong Ability Draft keybinds is fixed 
  • The base magic resistance is reduced  from 25% to 20% for the Eternal Shroud Item

Hero Updates for Dota 2 7.36

S-ranked heroes have received many buffs. Here are the major stat changes to Dota 2 heroes,

  • Ancient Apparition –  Death Rime stacks has been reduced from 2 to 1 for the Chilling Touch skill
  • Arc Warden – Bonus incoming damage is nerfed for Tempest Double
  • Abaddon – Attack Speed for Curse of Avernus is reduced 
  • Axe – Armor Gain per kill is reduced for Coat of Blood
